This beautifully crafted Victorian monogram with ornate sculpted letters is a fabulous work of art. The "CM" monogram is from the book: "Dictionnaire Chiffre-Monogramme", (1881), by heraldic artist Charles Demengeot. It was replicated and placed on a round scrolled sterling silver set of earrings with a raised monogram. The background was darkened to add emphasis to the artfully scrolled monogram. They come with elongated ear wires. As with most 2-letter intertwined monograms, the initials can either be CM or MC. A superb gift for that special someone. It can either be worn as a piece of Victorian art or for the initials. The initials can have a special meaning, and just not be the first letters of a person's initials: e.g. "Cherished Mom", etc. If matched with the "CM" pendant, you start a fashion trend for your friends.
