Description
An artistic intertwined "JBT" monogram from the early 1900's, although simple in form, it is a graceful work of art created by the British heraldic artist J. Gordon Smith. The monogram is in his book: "Monograms in Three & Four Letters" (1903), London, England. Lynda found the monogram in his book at the National Library of Scotland in Edinburgh. The style of the sterling silver pendant models the "JTB" smooth, square style without ornate features. Artistically, it is a perfect marriage. The pendant has a detachable twisted bail for ease in changing necklaces. As a three-letter intertwined monogram, the letters could be "JBT" or "TJB" or "JTB". A great gift as a work of art or a fabulous gift for anyone with the 3 initials. Because of its stylistic simplicity, this pendant can be worn with any outfit.
