This is a charming and elegant example of French Art Nouveau by French religious medalist Edmond Henri Becker (1871–1971). Becker was once a student of Charles Valton (1885–1928). He was a member of the Society of French Artists, where he had exhibited since 1892 and where he received a first-class medal in 1911. This exquisite piece depicts Saint Joan of Arc with her shield by her side in 1429. It comes with a 14K detachable bail, allowing you to wear it with any chain you want.
