A classic cipher, this "MAR" monogram with its flowing scripted letters is from the book Monograms with three & four letters (1903), by the heraldic artist J. Gordon Smith. It was replicated with raised letters and placed on a sterling silver pendant with a mirrored background and surrounded by a detailed border. A great gift as a work of art or for someone that the "MAR" initials have special meaning. A great conversation piece.
