This stunning French award medal, made by French artist Richard Fath (1900-1952), was designed in the 1950's for Frances Poodle Club.  The Poodle most likely originated in Germany, although it is also claimed to be from France.  The Poodle comes in four different sizes and was originally used by waterfowl hunters to retrieve game from the water.  Poodles are among the top 10 desired breeds.  Poodles are a proud breed, they are pretty and they know it, and so is this beautiful sterling silver pendant.
