These Art Nouveau ornate earrings are inspired from an antique French Marianne with winged helmet medal, circa 1933.  Marianne is the national symbol of the French Republic, and she is the personification of liberty and reason.  The medal image was replicated and made into a set of sterling silver teardrop earrings.  A beautifully crafted medal, the earrings are elegant.  They are lightly oxidized to enhance the images, and come with ear wires attached to a small bale.  A fabulous set of historically based earrings.  Get a complete matching set by adding the Marianne pendant to make a real fashion statement.
