One of the most loved dogs by many, the German Shepherd Dog, originated in Germany in the late 1800's.  The most intelligent, responsive and obedient local shepherd dogs in Germany were bred to create what is now known as the German Shepherd.  These amazing dogs are used for variety of things.  They are police dogs, military dogs, search and rescue, lead the blind, protect us and fill our hearts with love, joy and security.
