Description
This is a charming and elegant example of French Art Nouveau by French religious medalist Edmond Henri Becker (1871-1971). Becker was once a student of Charles Valton (1885-1918). He was a member of the Society of French Artists, where he had exhibited since 1892 and where he obtained a first-class medal in 1911. This exquisite piece shows St. John of Arc, Jehanne d'Arc, with her shield by her side in 1429. A 14K gold jump ring included.
