Take a walk back in time to the origin of the: "Twelfth Man, Old Army, & Old Sarge".  The Texas AMC monogram came from an antique button on the uniform of Texas A.M.C. cadets in the 1920's.  The Agricultural Mechanical College of Texas is now known as Texas A&M University and the AMC insignia was last used by the Corp of Cadets in 1968.
